Who is Kerrie Redgate
What personal data I collect and why I collect it
When visitors leave comments on the site I collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
My Contact forms are processed and stored on the Typeform.com server. Your email is then sent by Typeform to both my encrypted Swiss Protonmail account, and to my web server, InMotionHosting.com whereby I can access your email via the Spark email apps by Readdle, an award-winning software company (who have now reached 100 million downloads of their apps!).
Your email correspondence may be stored on my mail server indefinitely while it is relevent for my service(s) for you. I will delete any correspondence from you at your written (email) request, as soon as possible.
For casual visitors to this website, I use IP Anonymization for Cookies that store data. This means your IP address is truncated before being sent to Google Analytics, preventing any personal identification of you across the Google network. I do not use analytics for advertising purposes.
If you leave a comment on this site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site often include embedded content (videos and images). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
Who I share your data with
I do not collect your data from this website for any CRM (Customer Relationship Management) services, unless you choose to sign up to my Exceptional Purpose Resource newsletter, yourself. In that instance, your inputted data is sent to my MailChimp.com account so that I can send you useful information and resources.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so I can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
What rights you have over your data
If you have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of any personal data I may hold about you, including any data you have provided to me. You can also request that I erase any personal data I hold about you. This does not include any data I am obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
This site does not add your contact data to a mailing list when you leave a comment. You are free to opt in to my Exceptional Purpose Resource newsletter, if you so choose. You may also unsubscribe to my newsletter at any time by using the Unsubscribe link at the base of the newsletter, or request to be unsubscribed by email if urgent, for any reason—no questions asked.
Where I send your data
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service. I use Antispam Bee to filter out spam comments.
How I protect your data
This site uses SSL/TLS encryption to protect your data inputs in real time. Any third-parties I engage in the processing of that data (as above) are highly respected in the online global community.
And as stated above, the data I collect for analytics purposes does not include any identifying information about you. Your full IP address is not sent to Google Analytics.
Industry regulatory disclosure requirements
This site complies with GDPR legislation for your privacy and online rights. If you have any concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
For more extensive Terms & Conditons regarding my services, please see the Privacy page on my ExceptionalPurpose.com website.
Many thanks for your trust,
